In the shadow of Machapuchare, known locally as the Sacred Mountain or the Fishtail, a single hiker sets out from Annapurna Base Camp.
As I sat watching this hiker move further down the trail I couldn't help but notice how small he looked in the vast expanse of this mountain landscape. The Annapurna Sanctuary. The Himalayas, Nepal.
